Dubai Metro Trains is an independent guide. This page explains what our information is, what it is not, and where to go for official answers.
Not the RTA
We are not affiliated with, authorised by or connected to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Metro operators or the Government of Dubai. We do not sell tickets, handle Nol card accounts, issue refunds or deal with fines. For any of those, contact the RTA on 800 9090, through the RTA S’hail app, or at rta.ae.
How accurate is the information?
Every fare, timetable and station name on the site comes from a single dataset that we check against RTA and Dubai Media Office sources, and each utility page shows when it was last verified. Even so, the RTA can change fares, operating hours, station names and rules at short notice, and special arrangements apply during events and Ramadan. If an official RTA source and our site disagree, the RTA is right — and we would be grateful if you told us so we can correct the page.
Timetables are schedules, not live data
We publish the official operating hours and schedule-based information, such as when the last train of the day is due. We do not show live train positions or real-time disruptions. For live service status, use the RTA S’hail app.
Fare calculator and route guides
Our fare calculator and station-to-station route guides compute fares from the RTA’s published zone and fare model, and estimate journey times from the number of stops. They are planning aids. The fare actually deducted by the RTA’s systems, and the real journey time on the day, are what count.
Future lines
Information about the Blue Line and Gold Line reflects official announcements at the time of writing. Large projects change: dates can move and designs can be revised. Where something has been reported by the media but not confirmed by the RTA, we label it as reported, and we do not publish unannounced station names.
Maps and diagrams
Our network map is a schematic designed for clarity. It is not drawn to geographic scale and should not be used to judge walking distances.
Rules and fines
Our summaries of metro rules and fine amounts are a plain-language guide to RTA regulations, not legal advice. Enforcement decisions and the official regulations always take precedence.

The site may show advertisements served by third parties. An advertisement is not a recommendation by us. External links, including links to official sources, lead to sites we do not control.
