Creek Metro Station

G30 Green Line Zone 6 Elevated

Creek station (G30) is the Green Line’s quiet southern terminus with the loudest future on the network: in September 2029 it becomes the Blue Line’s creek-side gateway, linking old Dubai to Festival City, Dubai Creek Harbour and International City. Today it serves the Culture Village district and the Al Jaddaf Marine Station at the water’s edge. Elevated, fare zone 6.

Terminus life, 2026 edition

For now, Creek is the line’s decompression chamber – every train ends here, the platforms exhale, and the district below is still filling in: the Jaddaf Waterfront’s newer blocks, hotel openings, and the landscaped creek edge of Culture Village (Al Jaddaf’s masterplan name). The Al Jaddaf Marine Station gives it a proper waterfront function – RTA marine routes connect along the creek, the scenic alternative for Festival City-side hops.

2029: from cul-de-sac to junction

The Blue Line changes everything here. Creek becomes the interchange where the Green Line meets the new eastern corridor – one stop from Dubai Festival City, two from Dubai Creek Harbour’s record-setting 74-metre station. The RTA’s works around the station are the visible start of that future; our Blue Line tracker follows the build. If you are choosing where to live on the Green Line with a three-year view, this terminus is the obvious bet.

What is here today

The sculpture-park stretch of Jaddaf Waterfront, the marine station, creek-view hotels, and – one stop back at Al Jadaf – the library and arts centre pairing. Dubai Festival City’s mall and IKEA glitter across the water: reachable by taxi around the creek head, by marine routes when schedules align, and by train in 2029.

Local tips

  • Guaranteed seats: boarding at a terminus means empty trains – relevant for the long haul to Sharjah-side destinations via the full Green Line.
  • Waterfront evenings: the promenade between Creek and Al Jadaf stations is an uncrowded sunset walk the tourist maps miss.
  • Marine connections from Al Jaddaf Marine Station run on their own timetable – check S’hail before planning around them.
  • Construction watching: the Blue Line interchange works are the district’s current spectacle – visible progress toward 2029 on every visit.

Getting here and onward

As a terminus, Creek guarantees empty trains – relevant for the long haul up through Deira toward e& and the Sharjah buses. It is zone 6, like the whole Bur Dubai arm of the Green Line, and BurJuman is three stops for the Red Line and Downtown. The promenade between Creek and Al Jadaf stations is an uncrowded sunset walk the tourist maps miss. Marine connections from Al Jaddaf Marine Station run on their own timetable, so check the S’hail app before planning around them; otherwise onward travel is the taxi rank.
